Releases in the US Details of New FBI Files Donald Trump’s Alleged Assault

Additional Federal Bureau of Investigation documents detailing interviews with a woman who claimed that US President Donald Trump sexually assaulted her after introducing her to him through the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were made public by the US Department of Justice on Thursday.

The Justice Department claims that because the documents were incorrectly classified as “duplicative,” they were excluded from prior congressionally compelled file releases pertaining to Epstein.

As Democratic lawmakers continue to look into how the Trump administration handled data connected to the Epstein case, the recently made papers have drawn further political attention.

According to Naija News, the aforementioned documents include summaries of many FBI interviews with the woman in 2019. The woman said that both Epstein and Trump had sexually assaulted her while she was between the ages of 13 and 15.

The lady told investigators during one of the interviews that Epstein brought her to “either New York or New Jersey,” where he introduced her to Trump.

She claimed that throughout the interaction, Trump tried to coerce her into having oral sex with him.

The woman said in the interview transcripts that she bit Trump and rejected the effort.

The woman also told detectives that over the years, she and people close to her had received threatening phone calls warning her to be quiet.

She stated that she thought Epstein was involved in the threats.

The FBI interview summaries are a part of a larger set of investigative documents pertaining to Epstein, whose illegal acts involving minors caused widespread indignation prior to his death in 2019.

Regarding the accusations pertaining to Epstein, President Trump has consistently denied any misconduct.

Some of the documents made public in relation to the probe “contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump,” the Justice Department had previously warned.

Trump has insisted that he had nothing to do with any unlawful activity with Epstein.

The Trump administration has been accused by Democratic senators of trying to hide information from the Epstein investigation that could harm the president’s political standing.

When a US House committee decided to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi to appear regarding the Justice Department’s handling of the records on Wednesday, the debate intensified.

The subpoena, according to lawmakers, is intended to ascertain whether any documents related to Epstein were unlawfully kept from earlier disclosures.
