32 officials have been confirmed and appointed as Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service by Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
This was said in a statement sent to Governor Ebenezer Adeniyan in Akure, the state capital, that was signed by the Chief Press Secretary.
Olanrewaju Abiodun, Tope Lebile, Stephen Aworere, Omotayo Akeju, Olufemi Moyinolorun, Olakunle Ajibade, Mrs. Oluwakemi Akinyemi, Mrs. Tayo Ogundare, Mrs. Morayo Bayo-Philip, Adeyemi Sule, Mrs. Olufunso Tunji-Omoniyi, and Bamidele Daisi are among the appointees.
Others are Dr. Akindele Ige, Olanrewaju Akarakiri, Dr. Mrs. Abike Ilawole, Tpl. Abimbola Tofowomo, Mrs. Funke Adelayi, Mrs. Oluseyi Odusola, Mrs. Olusiji Olatunji, Mrs. Ope Adetoye, Dr. Akinluyi Omotola, Olumide Kinga, and Kolawole Kayode.
Ayodeji Ogudare, Adeduro Akinbola, Ibidapo Ojo, Olusegun Orisabinone, Surv. Idowu Owolabi, Adeoye O. Atibioke, Mrs. Toyin Awotoye, Ayodeji Ayeku, and Dr. Peter Akingbade are among the other Permanent Secretaries appointed.
Subject to approval by the Ondo State House of Assembly, Governor Aiyedatiwa also confirmed important nominations to statutory positions, such as Dr. Charles Tunde Ojuolape as Auditor-General for Local Governments and Olusola Sunday Ajayi as Statistician-General.
“The confirmation and appointments take effect from 1st February, 2026,” stated Adeniyan.
The Chief Press Secretary went on to say that the newly appointed officers’ swearing-in ceremony will take place at a later date.
He pointed out that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s continuous efforts to realign the state civil service for improved efficiency and service delivery include the most recent round of promotions.
