Ifedayo Olarinde, better known by his stage as Daddy Freeze, has expressed his thoughts on the similarities between artist Wizkid and the late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
Wizkid cannot be compared to Fela, according to Daddy Freeze, who emphasized that the late Afrobeat icon’s impact goes beyond music.
He pointed out that Fela was an ardent activist and humanitarian in addition to being a musician.
The media personality stated in a video broadcast that Wizkid would not be able to be compared to the great Fela Anikulapo-Kuti unless he protested to the government and fought for civil rights.
