The late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s daughter, Motunrayo Kuti, has criticized singer Wizkid for saying he is superior to her father.
According to the DAILY POST, in response to Seun Kuti’s criticism of him and his father, Wizkid recently asserted that he is larger than Fela.
The allegations did not sit well with Motunrayo, who has criticized Wizkid for making such a statement in a video broadcast.
“You mentioned that you are larger than Fela, Wizkid? Wizkid, you are greater than both your mother, who is now late, and your worthless father, who abandoned you. You are greater than your father, Muniru Olatunji Balogun, as you claimed to be greater than our own father. Furthermore, our father is unquestionably larger than your mother and father.
“You who left your infant mothers behind. “Don’t worry, we’ll all be here when they begin to destroy your own legacy as well,” she said.
