Wizkid and Asake, two Afrobeats singers, have released their eagerly awaited collaborative EP, Real Vol. 1, which has four tracks: Turbulence, Jogodo, Iskolodo, and Alaye.
The duo unveiled the EP on Instagram, posting a promotional video with the tagline, “Real EP Vol. 1 ti jade bayi,” according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Following the success of their lead single, “Jogodo,” which was released on January 16 and had enormous streaming figures, the EP was released.
When Jogodo was first released, it broke Spotify Nigeria’s streaming records.
On its first day, the song had 1.388 million plays, the most of any duo or collaborative release on Spotify Nigeria.
Jogodo achieved No. 82 on the worldwide chart after making its debut at No. 1 on Spotify Nigeria.
Their musical cooperation, which has resulted in blockbusters like MMS and Bad Girl, has reached yet another significant milestone with this collaboration.
Wizkid’s Morayo album is the most streamed album on Apple Music Nigeria, and Asake’s “Why Love” is the most streamed song. Both artists have had outstanding solo runs in 2025.
