Why I Apologized in Public Chris Okafor, to Doris Ogala

Chris Okafor, the founder of Mountain of Liberty and Miracle Ministry, has stated that he was under pressure to publicly apologize to Nollywood actress Doris Ogala.

Speaking at a recent church service, Okafor declared that he had chosen to retract his apologies to Ogala, who accused him of having a covert relationship with her for seven years.

He clarified that his apology was intended to keep reputable religious leaders out of the situation rather than to apologize to Ogala.

He claims that at first, he was reluctant to apologize because he thought it would be seen as an admission of guilt.

“You have to lose a battle to win a war. Some of the folks in my immediate vicinity put a lot of pressure on me to accomplish certain things. I answered that acknowledging what I did not do is equivalent to what I am being asked to do.

First of all, I apologized because I did not want Pastor Matthew and Bishop Abioye, the fathers of religion, to be dragged.

“There isn’t a single apology to that individual. I won’t apologize for anything I didn’t do or for someone I haven’t personally met. He remarked, “I knelt down because of their fathers, not because of any Jezebel anywhere.

According to the clergyman, he is now depending on the legal system to settle the conflict.

He continued, “We have chosen the right course, and the right course will prevail.”
