After a ten-year and widely reported feud, businessman Olakunle Churchill has reconciled with his ex-wife, Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, and their son, King Andre.
After resumed communication started by Dikeh, the former couple, who were recently embroiled in a furious argument, seem to have put their differences aside.
After years of alienation, she allegedly extended an olive branch to Churchill.
Churchill recently shared on Instagram how he was “pleasantly surprised” when his son called him “Daddy” for the first time, calling it a touching reminder of God’s grace.
Popular pastor Pastor Jerry Eze, who has been Dikeh’s spiritual tutor throughout the years, assisted in the reconciliation.
“God has a way of rewriting stories men thought were over,” Dikeh wrote in an online post praising Eze for assisting her in finding forgiveness and serenity.
“This is grace speaking… and Hearts for Jesus obeying,” she continued, expressing her sincere gratitude to the pastor. Time ran out. Grace won out. What God had planned could not be undone by time. Today, the voice of restoration was heard.
* “To my spiritual father, Papa @realjerryeze,” she wrote, specifically addressing Pastor Eze. There will never be a greater day than yesterday. We are grateful for your steadfast obedience to God’s call.
God changed me into the woman I am today—one who is resilient, rooted, and full of His grace—through you. May you always receive unimaginable rewards from God.
In addition, Churchill expressed his gratitude to Dikeh for her dedication to raising their child and referred to her as “the amazing mother of my son.”
Online reactions to the reunion have been extensive, with supporters and well-wishers praising the ex-couple for making the decision to reconcile and putting their son’s welfare first.
