Nollywood star Uzor Arukwe has vowed to sue anybody circulating what he called hurtful and untrue rumors that he is connected to the supposed marital crisis involving actress BamBam and Teddy A.
In a social media statement, Arukwe addressed the situation by claiming that a certain account had been found to be spreading unfounded rumors regarding his business relationship with BamBam, whom he did not name. After their 2025 YouTube video, Love In Every Word, went viral, the rumors allegedly picked more steam.
The actor stated that he purposefully refrained from promoting the disputed social media account in order to prevent the problem from getting worse, but he did give a warning that the offender will suffer repercussions. According to him, the move is intended to serve as a deterrent to others who use social media to spread unverified claims.
He stated that those guilty will be held accountable for any harm to their reputation. “A specific account has been identified to spread false rumors and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry,” he wrote.
The dispute arises when BamBam and Teddy A’s marriage is under more public scrutiny, with internet rumors speculating that their on-screen personas may have caused conflict. Nevertheless, no such claims have been verified by Arukwe or BamBam.
BamBam has remained largely silent, posting only a brief video on social media. Teddy A had previously responded to claims of domestic abuse by rejecting them as untrue.
According to reports, both have unfollowed one another on social media.
