Kachikwu Accuses Tinubu of Hijacking ADC Atiku at Peter Obi

Dumebi Kachikwu, a factional leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has claimed that Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and other presidential candidates joined the party with a plan to fail.

In an interview with Arise TV Prime Time, he made the assertion.

He denied allegations that President Bola Tinubu was seeking to take over the party, claiming that David Mark, Atiku, and Peter Obi were the ones attempting to do so.

To be clear, President Tinubu did not try to take control of my party. “I am against David Mark, Atiku, and Peter Obi because they tried to take over my party,” Kachikwu declared.

He continued by saying that Obi and Atiku had no intention of furthering the party’s mission, despite his painstaking efforts to establish the ADC.

They were ready to fail, which is why they came to this party. He stated, “They came to this party because they were ready to work on the public psyche.”

According to Kachikwu, he traveled the nation promoting the party and defending its interests in a number of court disputes.

He claimed that Obi, Atiku, and Mark joined the ADC in order to take advantage of popular sentiment and blame the government if their political goals were not fulfilled.

Instead of going to court, they have gone to the court of public opinion. Whatever occurs, they would claim that their aspirations were thwarted by the current government, Kachikwu contended.
