Ahead of his trial, Thomas Partey is accused of two more rape counts.

The Crown Prosecution Service has revealed that Thomas Partey, a former midfielder for Arsenal, has been charged with two more counts of rape.

Partey, 32, is scheduled to go on trial in November after denying raping two women and sexually abusing a third.

The Ghanaian international is now facing additional charges after prosecutors approved the latest accusations.

In relation to the most recent counts, he is expected to appear in Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 13.

When Partey first appeared at Southwark Crown Court in September of last year, he entered a not guilty plea to five counts of rape and one charge of sexual assault.

According to reports, the alleged offenses occurred between 2021 and 2022, when he was a regular in Arsenal’s first squad.

On November 2, Partey, who is presently out on bail, will go on trial.

He currently plays for the Spanish team Villarreal, and his bail terms let him to carry on playing football as long as he keeps his distance from the complainants and notifies the police of any overseas trip at least 24 hours in advance.

Partey is still a vital member of the Ghanaian national team, which will play England in the World Cup group stage in the United States on June 23.
