In a video that she shared on social media on Wednesday night, US television presenter Savannah Guthrie heartfeltly begged captors to provide evidence that her 84-year-old mother was still alive.
After pointing him that “voices and images are easily manipulated,” Guthrie stated, “We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her.”

Trump continued, “We are using every resource to get her mother home safely.”
Guthrie addressed her mother’s precarious health and heart in the video she uploaded, stating that “she lives in constant pain.” She has no medication. She needs it to not suffer and to survive.
The news anchor said that she had heard about a ransom letter in the media and stated that her family was doing “everything that we can.”
She also spoke directly to her mother, who was absent.

According to the New York Times, Nancy Guthrie was reported missing after failing to attend her usual Sunday church service.
