Jurgen Klopp will return to Anfield to support Sir Kenny Dalglish during a Liverpool Legends match this year, according to Liverpool.
Just eighteen months after leaving, the former Reds boss will return to the dugout when Liverpool plays Borussia Dortmund on March 28.
Sami Hyypia, Fabio Aurelio, Gregory Vignal, Martin Kelly, and Yossi Benayoun are among the legends that are anticipated to play.
The squad released a statement saying, “Jürgen Klopp has joined the Liverpool FC Legends management team for the upcoming game against Borussia Dortmund Legends.”
“On Saturday, March 28, at 3 p.m. GMT, Klopp will return to the Anfield dugout to support manager Sir Kenny Dalglish for the charity match, which is sponsored by AXA and in collaboration with Forever Reds. LFC ambassador Ian Rush and Forever Reds chair John Aldridge will join Dalglish and Klopp on the touchline.
